SCREEN WRITING
I have enjoyed all forms of writing for as long as I remember. When I was little, I'd spend hours in my room writing intricate stories for fun. Here, you can see a range of my written work alongside other developmental pieces.

'THE PAINTER' - excerpt
This was my first assessment at university for a Creative Writing unit. This assessment required students to explore a short story concept and write scenes for it, this excerpt was based around the prompt of creating a scene with tension between a couple; the boyfriend had just been caught cheating.

'love letters' synopsis
For one of my university assessments, I created a synopsis and script outline for a short film I would later direct. This is a short psychological thriller.

'monet' summary
Before writing the full screenplay, I had to create an emotional arch summary for my main character from 'Monet'. I outlined the main plot points however focused on Hugo's behaviours throughout it all.

'MONET' - EXERPT
This is page 3 of a short screenplay I wrote for university called 'Monet'. This follows the aforementioned 'Monet' summary. I developed that concept into an Australian industry standard script which I'd one day love to develop into a film.

'GROWING UP DIARIES'- excerpt
For an assessment, my team and I were tasked with pitching a short-form web series for young Australians. Rather than merely pitching, we actually made the pilot episode. This is an excerpt of the script I wrote.

'A TRIP TO THE PLAYGROUND' SYNOPSIS
I developed a synopsis for a short film based on an experience I had back in my early teen years. It follows a young girl sneaking out of her friends house at night, oblivious to the dangers that come out when it's dark outside.

SCREENPLAY - in progress
I am currently in the developmental stage of my first long-form screenplay. 'Untitled' is set to be a 10 episode limited series following a young woman who unintentionally uncovers a corrupted aged-care facility that are using disadvantaged elderly people as 'lab-rats' for medical experiments. The screenshots of films above such as 'Get Out' (2017), 'The Giver' (2014), and 'Don't Worry Darling' (2022) all reflect aesthetics and genre conventions I aim to implement. There is an image also of Jenna Ortega in 'Wednesday' (2022) as she fits the ideal profile of my protagonist.

SCREENPLAY - in progress
I am currently in the developmental stage of another long-form screenplay. 'Untitled' is set to be a limited series or feature length film following a young woman on a long train ride across Europe. As the arrival time approaches, she realises the train isn't stopping. As she investigates, she begins to slowly realise nothing it as it seems - the train is merely going in circles and suddenly, nothing feels real. The core of my inspiration comes from my many train rides to and from university; I often have many "what ifs?" come to mind. I imagine someone like Victoria Pedretti acting as the main character, and sourced inspiration from images of old, luxurious train cabins.
